Single Girder Overhead Crane

Description:

A single girder overhead crane consists of a single horizontal girder mounted on the end carriages that travel along elevated runway beams, which are commonly fitted on the buildings‘ supporting structure. A electric hoist with capacity from 1t to 20t moves along the girder to lift and move loads.

It is a general-purpose light crane mainly applied in industrial workshops, warehouses, halls, etc. The girder is commonly box-type girder or uncommon I-beam. The span and lift height are customized according requirement.

  • General-Purpose Single Girder Crane:

    • This is the most commonly see type with general-purpose hoists (wire rope hoist or chain hoist), and general-purpose hook, etc. to carry out general lifting and handling tasks.

  • ​Cleanroom/Corrosion-Resistant Single Girder Crane:

    • It is made from stainless steel or anti-corrosion materials and used in sanitary or corrosive environments such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, marine sectors, etc.

  • Special Lifter Device Single Girder Crane:

    • In addition to hooks, the single girder crane can work with different lifter devices such as grabs, beams, magnetic lifters, etc. to handle special materials such as bulk materials, scraps, long objects, etc.
